Eyelash Extensions Aftercare

For the first 24 hours after application of lash extensions, try not to let them come into contact with water. This will ensure that the adhesive is given adequate time to bond completely.
For the first 48 hours after application, try to avoid hot showers/baths, using the sauna or swimming.
Do not pick, pull or rub the lash extensions. After washing your face always pat dry – if the lashes become loaded with water, dab underneath with tissue.
Avoid the use of waterproof mascara or any oil-based make-up remover – this will affect the lash adhesive. Use only water based mascara (if necessary) on the lash tips - and ideally no more often than twice a week.
Do not perm the lash extensions or use eyelash curlers as it can break down the bond.
Do not tint the lash extensions – if a tint is required, this should be performed at least 24 hours prior to lash application.
Avoid using eye drops where possible; as this can break down the bonding.
Depending on your individual natural eyelash growth cycle (and how well you follow the aftercare instructions) your lashes should last approximately 3 weeks before needing infills. Those who have a faster growth cycle may need infills sooner.
Removal should be carried out by a qualified therapist with the correct tools and equipment – please avoid pulling the lashes, out as your own eyelashes may come out with them.
